One thing that Sony first party studio games do is add continued support to the games after launch with excellent content. I absolutely love it and would recommend you take a look at it. Whilst the premise of the game is simple to pick up, it’s a deep game that offers tonnes of replay-ability. Each run feels different, but now you have the added benefit of working towards unlocking different load-outs for characters or unlocking artifacts that act as modifiers you can turn on or off. Even though the game just gets harder and harder as you play and way more chaotic. It’s one of the most fun coop games around at the moment. Over the last year or so Hopoo Games have just been adding cool new stuff to it. The core of the game was solid when it first launched into early access. So it’s only normal that the final product is better. Let’s be honest, the Risk of Rain was already an excellent way before the full release. It was only fair that I jump in to see how it was. Not only that, a load of new items have been added to the game too. With the full release came a new character, new stages and a final boss. Risk of Rain 2 recently hit it’s 1.0 release coming out of early access. Time to check in on what we’ve been playing. As the boiling sun starts to fade away we can get back to sitting comfortably at our computers once again.
